CCTV links both internal and external cameras to dedicated TV monitors and video recording facilities. CCTV systems can be visable or concealed, ranging from high tech cameras to sturdy purpose built-in units for surveillance in colour or black & white.

Images can be saved to a computer and viewed whilst they are still recording. Recording of the footage can be either continuous or triggered by motion detectors. CCTV systems are either 4 or 16 channels and have added features such as remote dial in access.

Alarmaguards’ DVR’s store high resolution video footage on internal hard drives for safe keeping. All of our DVR range comes with a minimum 300 GB hard drive as standard, with the option to increase depending on your security requirements.

Cameras come in numerous designs from conventional cameras to covert cameras housed within a wide selection of enclosures to suit the required environment. Colour cameras are used for the majority of installations. Colour cameras produce high quality images in a variety of lighting levels.

Monochrome cameras are used for extreme low light areas because of their ability to work in conjunction with infra-red illumination.

Day/Night cameras are the technology from both monochrome and colour cameras, by using colour during the day and switching to monochrome during the evening.
